The Israel Football Association signed Nora Hauptle yesterday to two-year contract with an option for an additional two years to become the first ever technical director of women’s football in Israel. Hauptle, who is originally from Switzerland will begin the position on December 1 and will be responsible for the development of women’s football for all age groups, as well as appointing the professional staff for the various teams, coaching the senior team, managing the centers of excellence and academia for women and leading training and coaching courses in women’s football.

Nora Hauptle: “I’m very satisfied that I’ve signed with the IFA and enthusiastic to represent Israeli football and its outstanding values as the new coach of the Women´s National Team and Technical Director.
