The Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Nora Hauptle, erstwhile Head Coach of the Senior National Female Football Team, the Black Queens, announce the expiry of their contract.
The GFA wishes to express its sincere gratitude to Nora Hauptle for her wonderful service to the Black Queens and Ghana Women’s Football. We appreciate the diligence, professionalism, and comportment with which she executed her duties. We can confidently and undisputably say that Nora has lifted the Black Queens to a much higher level than she came to meet the team, qualifying the team to its first Women’s AFCON in a number of years. Also under her role as Technical Advisor the Black Princesses qualified twice for the U20 Women’s World Cup.
Nora Hauptle thanks the GFA for the opportunity to manage the Black Queens, which she considers an honour. She is pleased with the progress the team made under her stewardship and appreciates the support and appreciation extended to her by the GFA and Ghanaians.
As Nora Hauptle begins a new chapter in her career, the GFA wishes her the very best in her future endeavours. Similarly, Nora Hauptle wishes the Black Queens and the GFA good luck in their future pursuits.
Both parties will always cherish fond memories of our time working together.
