WITHDRAWAL AS IFA WOMEN’S TECHNICAL DIRECTOR AND NATIONALTEAM COACH

Nora Haeuptle, the Technical Director of IFA Women’s football, is ending her job after addressing the IFA CEO, Yossi Sharabi, and announcing that due to personal reasons she wants to return back home. Haeuptle, who started her work on December 1, left Israel yesterday and returned home to Switzerland.

Yossi Sharabi, the IFA CEO: “I am sorry for Nora’s decision, but we respect it. The search committee unanimously chose Nora for the position in the belief that it will lead us to a profound change in women’s football and move it forward. We enjoyed Nora’s knowledge even during her short time with us and this only strengthens our position on the need for a quality professional for the job. We will once again find the right professional to nurture women’s football and realize the great potential that lies within it”.

Nora Haeuptle: “I thank the Football Association for choosing me, for the opportunity and for understanding my necessity to end the role at short notice due to personal circumstances. I will remain a big fan of Women’s football in Israel and I wish for its success”.
